Harvesting produce fresh from our Smart Gardens when it’s needed reduces waste.
Wasted materials become a resource in a Smart Garden; food scraps, lawn clippings, prunings and autumn leaves are recycled as compost and mulch; unwanted bathtubs become ponds, wicking beds or worm farms; food grade plastic buckets from local restaurants become small, portable wicking pots and compost systems; and mattress springs and bed frames become trellises. By recycling these materials onsite, we avoid the need to buy new products, saving money and time and avoiding waste.
