Presented in partnership with My Smart Garden and Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, Maribyrnong and Merri-bek Councils, Olives to Oil is an annual event run by CERES, bringing people together to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil.

This year the Westside events include 3 x olive drop-offs in May and the oil collection Festival in July.

Olives to Oil – Westside Yarraville 2026

Turn your freshly harvested olives – collected from backyards and community olive trees – into delicious extra virgin olive oil. You (or a friend or family member) must be available to collect your oil at our Festival day on Saturday 18th July at the Burnside Community Centre, City of Melton.

Registrations are essential.
